special thanks and appreciation to all our veterans today! as someone with family members that are both veterans of and currently serving in our armed forces, i know the sacrifice that comes with their service and so on this day i salute them for all that they have done for our country.
pretty much any holiday is an excuse for me to wear the colors associated with it, so today i am repping this americana look. it is the best way i know of to show that i am celebrating and recognizing the day. in all honesty, i cannot believe that i forgot to wear orange and black on halloween this year! i just forgot what day it was until i was already at work. last year i forgot as well (uh oh i sense a theme) and walked out on my way to class in some other outfit only to realize my mistake. you better believe i turned right back around and changed into my best orange and black and then hustled to class!
anyways, on this day i wear red, white and blue and remember all those who fought to protect those colors.
