this week marked the beginning of my (first) busy season at work; working from 8:30-6:30 plus an hour drive each way gets kind of long and coming home only to have to study for the cpa exam is not too fun but luckily i got some good work done and made sure to enjoy little things throughout the week like these:
-booking tickets to new york city and washington dc for christmas; my husband and i agree it should be a fun way to celebrate our first christmas together! now i just have to pray that work does not change my schedule!
-you’ve probably already seen it since it has gone viral, but this little baby’s reaction to his mom’s singing is hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. i shared it with my co-workers and we were all crying/laughing.
-these reasons i will never be sarah vickers are so funny yet so accurate; good to know i am not the only one who wants to be her.
-finally finishing a book i started probably two months ago. hey, life got busy. but an interesting book, it kind of reminded me of the time traveler’s wife, so if you liked that one, you might give this a try.
-i have always loved watching gymnastics but have never heard of acrobatic gymnastics until i was lead to this video. the skill is absolutely incredible and truly mind-blowing.
-these pictures from the top of the golden gate bridge make me sentimental for home.
-a moving image of the most popular girls names by state from 1960-2012; pretty interesting to watch.
-and most importantly, a special thanks to facetime for letting me see my husband’s cute face while he was away for work all week!
hope everyone has a great weekend!
