happy monday, i hope everyone had great weekends!
mine was jam-packed, starting friday night with dinner at the melting pot with 15 of my college girl friends. as i expected, to say we overwhelmed the waiter would be quite the understatement, whoops! but it was so fun being able to see everyone, it is times like this when i am glad we did not relocate too far away after graduation 🙂
the rest of the weekend consisted of a lot of football and unfortunately a lot of sad losses. my teams were doing so well for so long i do not know what happened! though both my alma mater ravens and my kansas city chiefs lost and the weather was absolutely freezing for both games (read: below freezing and i had about 800 layers on) it was still a great weekend with some of my favorite people. i am grateful to have all these events to go to which keep my weekends packed, even though sometimes i wish for a weekend to just relax. guess that is what this thanksgiving weekend will be for!
