during my first winter in kansas, i quickly learned that midwest winters were nothing like california winters. it was frigid cold and i have no idea how i made it out alive. ever since then i have been a fan of big scarves because it really is crazy how much warmer you are when your neck is covered! since then, i have begun collecting quite a few; they act as a great accessory during the winter months when most other accessories like jewelry are hidden under jackets.
