when it comes to traveling, it is all about taking your basics and changing them up a bit by layering or accessorizing, otherwise you risk wayyy overpacking. now i am not saying that i am the queen of packing light, but i am starting to get better.
i wore this to midnight christmas mass the other night with some polka dot tights i got as a gift right before we left (far too cold for bare legs) and though black is not really the most christmas-y color, i only had a few dresses packed to pick from! so of course i raided my sisters’ closets and found this collared shirt and thought it would totally work under my dress to change it up. my mom thought it was great so i consider it a hit 😉
this was the third time i have worn this dress while on our trip. seriously i do not know why i even packed anything else. does this happen to anyone else, where you pack all this stuff and then wear like three things on repeat? anyways, the other two looks will be on the blog next week!
^it started to snow while we were taking pictures and we thought we might get a christmas miracle but it turned out to only last five minutes, bah humbug^
