as i mentioned in yesterday’s post, i quickly learned upon my arrival in kansas that covering my neck (and every inch of skin possible) in the colder months was essential if i wanted to make it to spring. i used to rely on scarves alone, but recently have been turning to something i never thought i would wear: turtlenecks. where they used to seem childish to me, i now see them as sophisticated and i especially love them with a statement necklace tucked under the collar.
i also absolutely love skirts with boots (as well as shorts with long sleeves and booties with dresses), all those combinations that seem a little counter-intuitive but hey i like what i like 🙂 it is sadly now absolutely freezing out, but i got to wear this combination the other day when it was gorgeous, 55 and sunny.
ps: i am guest posting on my best friend darcy’s blog today while she is on vacation in mexico (super jealous) so be sure to go check it out and stay a while on her blog!
i would love if you would follow me on bloglovin’!
