this past weekend and week was pretty full of great events for me. does that happen to anyone else that some weeks are so boring and others just jam-packed with fun things?! that being said it will be hard to pick my top five but here goes nothing!

one: george strait concert over the weekend. it is not every day that you get to see someone considered “the king of country” in his farewell tour before he retires after over thirty years touring. it was a great night with my husband, boots on, listening to music for hours on end 🙂
two: it is especially fun when your real life best friend has a blog so you can meet up to talk about life as well as blog stuff for hours on end. make sure to check out my friend darcy’s blog, i think you will love it and her!
three: i may have mentioned it before but for my huz and i, friday night lights is kind of “our show”. back when we were dating in college, after we had both finished our work for the night, he would pick me up and we would go over to his house and watch episode upon episode until way too late. well the other night when i got home from work he asked if i would want to watch an episode in bed! still just as great as i remembered.
four: coffee walks with my husband. i wish those could happen every day.
five: coming home after a long day is so much better when pretty necklaces are waiting in your mailbox 🙂 be sure to check back next week to see how i styled this number that you all loved when i posted it on my instagram. i totally wore it the very next day, can you blame me?
