friday five.

friday five.
TGIF!  tell me i am not the only one who is always a day ahead, i could have sworn yesterday was friday so i am so glad to say hello to the weekend!

—————————————

one: i started reading “love does” by bob goff and i just know i am going to love it!  plus, i got to read it outside on the patio in my adirondack chair over the weekend before the weather decided to drop down again (boo) which was so great and made me so anxious for summer!  sitting out there is one of my favorite things to do.

two: the other night i was in a bad mood and decided some retail therapy might help and boy was i right!  i found that the pair of kate spade wedges i had my eye on over a year ago were on super sale (they were even cheaper than they are now, not sure how that is possible).  there were only two sizes left, one of them being my size, and there was only one pair left in that size!  i ordered those babies so fast and was so excited when they landed in my mailbox!  i am already planning so many outfits around them so plan to see them about a hundred times here on the blog! 😉

three: time with best friends.  now that work is finally slowing down i have been finding (at least a little bit) more time to see friends.  it helps when your two best friends like all of 30 seconds away in the same apartment complex but it is just so refreshing to be around those people who know you best.

four: i do not know if i shared this here yet, but my husband is starting a new job on monday.  to bid him adieu, his team had a happy hour the other night and it was so fun seeing some familiar faces and also meeting some of the teammates he has been talking about for the past few months.

five: bare legs.  it has still been a little too cold for bare legs but i am so over tights and ready for spring i’ve been doing it anyways, rebel!  i feel like i have a thousand more clothing options now that i do not have to wear tights!
