this week was a pretty great one, i think mainly due to the fact that it is finally nice out again! it is crazy how much the weather can change my mood but seriously nothing could get me down this week. i hope everyone else felt that way and if not, there’s always next week 😉

one: “me” time. the other night my husband and some of his friends went to the royals game which left me home alone so i decided to make a night of it. i made sure it combined all my favorite things: new jammies, music, green juice, cookies, blogging, nail polish and reading. it was so nice to have one night all to myself!
two: evening walks. now that it is warming up outside, we have been taking full advantage and going on walks each night. it is so much fun being able to stroll and talk to the huz about our days and find a place to eat dinner and sometimes a milkshake too 🙂 these nights are some of my favorite.
three: last weekend, i made the drive back to my college for a close friend’s bridal shower. it was so much fun to be around college friends and celebrate such a wonderful girl. i met her when i studied abroad so our friendship is extra special 🙂
four: sunday aka donut day. we, and by we i mean i, decided that for the next few weeks we are going to do a “tour de donut” and start trying a new place each sunday since we have always just gone to the one down the street. a fun and sweet way to see the city!
