woohoo it is friday!
i am more excited than most fridays because today i am heading back to college for the weekend to see friends and partake in the weekend we call “springfest”. it is the last free weekend before finals start so it is the biggest party of the year, a whole weekend devoted to making cherished memories before separating for the summer.

one: happy hours outside. we took advantage of the nice weather last friday and went to a happy hour on the patio of a great restaurant. it was so nice to be able to unwind with my love while sharing some sangria and soaking up the sun.
two: mid-week dates. matt is leaving today to head to the kentucky derby with a bunch of friends so we made sure to squeeze in a date during the week. i love all the time we get to spend together now that we are married!
three: my sister is finally home after her semester studying abroad so we got to see her the other night and enjoy lots of laughs over some good ole american burgers.
four: drinks with friends. last saturday, matt and i went out to dinner and then found out some of our friends were nearby and got to meet up for drinks and hours of conversations and laughs. it was such a fun night with some friends we do not get to see nearly enough.
five: it was a pretty good mail week for me, got a romper and jumpsuit for an upcoming trip to vegas, some new blazers, a few pairs of sunglasses, a monogrammed clutch and a few more things on the way! 🙂
