is there any wardrobe staple more versatile than the chambray shirt? i honestly do not think so. to prove it, i teamed up with my friend vanessa of “whiskey and proper” to show some different ways we like to wear our chambrays!
this is the piece i pull when i am at a loss of what to wear because i know it can be styled so many different ways and is appropriate at nearly every occasion. i have worn it over dresses, with skirts, layered under sweaters, tucked into shorts, and the list goes on.
since it is a piece that can be worn throughout the seasons, i find it to be especially great during these transitional times. as we enter early spring and the days are just beginning to warm up, it acts as the perfect topper to some cheery floral pants!
i love how vanessa threw hers on as an extra layer instead of a jacket, so perfect when there is a chill in the air and you just need a light layer!
