over the weekend, matt and i headed up to our college town for “ameliafest”.  besides being the home of our alma mater, atchison, kansas is the birthplace of amelia earhart and the town has a big festival every july in her honor.  our weekend included a lake-side country concert, carnival ridesa firework show, a morning run (i won my age group…in the 2k!) and ending the nights with our best friends at our old favorite college bar.
for the randy houser concert, i had to rock the boots and decided to pair them with one of my favorite summer dresses that i scored at nordstrom rack a few years ago.  it is a look that perfectly encapsulates summer in my mind, so easy and bright.
dress: soprano via nordstrom rack // boots: old west // bag: tory burch // sunnies: ray-ban // earrings: local boutique (similar) // necklaces: c/o teal house collection + purple mermaid designs // bracelet: c/o teal house collection // lips: mac “snob” + mac “pink pearl pop” // nails: essie “muchi muchi”
