TGIF – like whoa. this week has been a truly crazy one but in just a few short hours i will be heading back home to kansas city and i cannot wait to see my man!! i hope you all had a wonderful week!

one: game night with married friends. we were the first of our group of friends to get married but had quite a few more tie the knot this year. it is so fun being able to share in the married life with them!
two: i found out monday around lunch that i would need to fly to minneapolis to help on a work project. while the trip has been pretty packed with work, i was able to go to the twins game at target field one night. the stadium is cool because it is smack dab in the middle of downtown so the view of the skyline is incredible. i wish i had gotten a picture – next time!
three: yesterday i went out to grab lunch only to find that the street that the office is on had been transformed into a farmer’s market! block after block was filled with booths of flowers, fruits, veggies, honey, cheese, you name it! i wish i could have picked up some goodies but at least it put a huge smile on my face.
four: matt is the perpetual test-taker in our house and passed yet another one this week, the series 65 exam, allowing him to legally give financial investment advice! he had been studying for weeks on end and i am so proud of him!
five: rainy days + donuts. last sunday morning a little rainstorm came through. though i contemplated not ever leaving the house i decided to go out and grab some donuts, i mean it was sunday after all! best decision of the day.
