CHANGES.

happy first day of fall! now that fall is officially here i know everyone is thinking about sweaters, booties, jeans and scarves. however, since it was still in the 70s and 80s this weekend, i found myself mixing some of those fall pieces with some of my summer favorites like shorts and skirts. until the weather cools down a bit more i will embrace this transitional phase!

and just as the seasons change, i have been embracing a change of my own… new hair! after years of thinking about it but always chickening out, i finally decided to go ombre. i will admit that i am still a little on the fence about it, but it has been really fun trying a new look.

while we are on the topic of my hair i have to let y’all in on a secret i have been keeping: extensions! i really use them more for thickness rather than length since my hair is actually getting pretty long, but i cannot tell you how much i love them! mine are from luxy hair and they are super soft and just clip right in and depending on the hairstyle i am going for i can decide how many wefts to use. since they are made of human hair, i can wash them, style them, even dye them. while dying them is not highly recommended, i am happy to say that mine did just fine!

one more change: i added a “currently loving” widget over in the sidebar right under my social media icons. i will be updating this every sunday with new items. this week’s roundup is all about fall accessories, since they are the best for this transition phase. adding in a wine colored handbag or a wool hat allow you to embrace the season gradually.
