i don’t know about you but i am soooo ready for the weekend! the weather has warmed up here and i am looking forward to a perfect fall weekend. hope y’all had a great week!

one: THE ROYALS ARE HEADED TO THE WORLD SERIES!!! yes that deserves to be in all caps 😉 my husband has been waiting for this his whole life. literally, the last time they made it to the world series, the playoffs even, was 29 years ago, so this is a pretty exciting time in our house. the city is absolutely abuzz and everyone has turned into a major fan, myself included.
two: last weekend, my alma mater’s football team played our biggest rivals out at the chiefs’ stadium which was a great time. we went out early and tailgated all day before the evening game and had so much fun. i came away with only one photo, the sign of a really good time 😉
three: last friday, off broadway shoes opened their fourth kansas city location and i was lucky enough to be able to attend. i had never been to a store opening before and had a blast shopping the store before anyone else.
four: this past sunday was randomly really cold so we took full advantage and indulged in some comfort food: grilled cheese and tomato soup. man was it delicious!
five: it looks like matt and i will be heading up to chicago in early december for a quick weekend trip. i have only been to the windy city once and my stay was very quick so i am excited to get back and really explore. any recommendations? shoot those my way, y’all were amazing when i asked for recommendations for our trip to new york last year.
