sharing such of the highlights from the friday night runway show at kansas city fashion week because it is better late than never right?! i chose not to photograph very much so that i could experience show without a camera in front of my face so i only have a few snaps but below were some of my favorite looks of the night that i could not help but snap!

alicia janesko: this resort wear collection was my favorite, hands down, and had me wanting to jet off to a faraway island stat. each model had an intricate headpiece hand made by alicia to coordinate with the piece being showcased. plus, that sequined jumpsuit, i need that and an occasion to wear it!

architexture: beautiful full maxi skirts and sheer overlays. very ladylike with a modern twist. also, topknot for the win!

nataliya meyer for lucia’s sarto: a collection made up of only black, white and grey, this was all about the details, like the coat that looked like the night sky and the jacket with the lace trimming.

tomboy design studio: a fun retro modern collection.

kate walz: first of all, she is 17! she has incredible talent and her collection was full of amazing shapes and intricate construction.

little shell designs: great use of sheer panels and incredible messy ponytail/braid/twist hairdos.

heidi herrman: another retro collection, love seeing these classy designs make a comeback.
