a simple look from last week when i got to meet up with my dad for dinner. if you have been following along for a while you might remember that in december my family moved out to washington dc for my dad’s job and what we referred to as a “study abroad semester” for my little sisters. well, at the end of summer my mom and sisters roadtripped back to california just in time to start back up at their old schools. my dad stayed a few more weeks to wrap up work and last week made the drive all by himself, a whopping 5 days of driving! he made sure to stop and see some family on the way and me, matt and my sister were lucky enough to get him one evening. i am a total daddy’s girl and since i do not get to see my family that often, it was such a treasure to see him.
