FRIDAY FIVE.

FRIDAY FIVE.

hike through changing leaves

TGIF!!  this week was a cold one to say the least.  like 18 degrees on my way to work kind of cold, eek!  i cannot believe how fast winter is approaching, but the upside is that it means the holiday season is coming quickly too! 🙂  this past week was all about the little things like change of scenery, savoring the last of the good weather, talks with family and spending quality time with friends.

one: hands-down my favorite part of living in kansas city is that so many of our college friends live here.  last weekend six of us couples got together for a wonderful night of french themed food and drink, games, laughs, and reminiscing.  it was great fun but let me just say this girl is not used to going to bed at 2:30 anymore, womp womp.
two: last week we drove an hour out of the way to a cute little frozen custard shop for to satisfy matt’s nostalgic craving.  it was totally worth it;  the custard combos were incredible and the decor was so cute!
three: crossing things off my fall bucket list.  knowing that there was a major cold front coming through this week, we took advantage of the nice fall weather over the weekend and went on a hike through the changing leaves.
four: my internet wasn’t working in the office one day this week, which seems like it would be really frustrating, but it allowed me to coffee shop hop all day long which i was definitely not mad about!
five: for the next few weeks i have an hour commute to my client, so i always take advantage of that time in the car to talk with my family.  it is always great getting to chat and check in on everyone!

ps: there are only a few days left to sign up for a free trial of rocksbox!!  they recently added kendra scott to their inventory, and if that isn’t reason enough to try it out then i don’t know what is 😉  follow this link to try it free for a month: http://curebit.com/x/OKHwiy
