the holiday season is in full swing and it seems like nearly every day someone is asking for advice on what to wear for this event or that event. so today i wanted to share with you the outfit i wore for our christmas card pictures which i think would be a perfect outfit for any more casual outting or event you have coming up.
my favorite way to look festive without wearing an ugly christmas sweater is by incoporating plaid into my look. something about it is so perfect for the season, and a red-based plaid, you can’t go wrong! i paired this plaid flannel with a white wool skirt (love me some winter whites), a pair of dark riding boots for contrast and finished it all off with some pearls. if you wanted to dress it up more, you could easily swap the boots for a pair of classic black pumps! hope this gives you some ideas for some of your holiday get-togethers!
