FRIDAY FIVE.

FRIDAY FIVE.
it’s friday, friday!  maybe it was just me but this week flew by and i cannot believe it is almost the weekend!  i have some fun things planned, including stuffing my face while “watching” the superbowl.  i haven’t decided who to root for yet but know the side dishes are sure winners 😉
this week included some big moments as well as some little ones that i have learned to treasure when life gets busy.  i hope they act as a reminder to find happiness and joy in both the big and small aspects of your day to day.

ONE: by far the most exciting thing that happened this week was that my husband found out he passed the first part of the CFA exam!!  that was secretly the reason we were up in chicago in december was for him to sit for the exam and he was so nervous but he killed it and i could not be more proud.  i am now married to a level 2 candidate 😉

TWO: my first summer in kansas, i volunteered at catholic charities.  ever since then i have wanted to attend their annual fundraising ball but always have something come up that weekend so i was really excited that we were able to go this year!!  i had a horrific wardrobe malfunction right before we left so had to go for a last minute LBD but it all worked out and we had a great time eating, socializing, and dancing!
THREE: late night walks with my husband.  it’s what i look forward to when i am hitting 12+ hours in the audit room 😉
FOUR: last weekend it was fuh-reezing cold so i took it as an excuse to sit on the couch and finish my book.  glorious way to spend a sunday if you ask me.
FIVE: and then in true midwest fashion, on wednesday it was 72 degrees!  i took a break mid day to go out and enjoy the sunshine, since it is supposed to snow again this weekend, womp womp.
