FRIDAY FIVE.

FRIDAY FIVE.

TGIF!!  kansas city is doing this thing where it is snowy one day and then mid 50s two days later which has made for an interesting week but i am so excited because this weekend is supposed to be in the 60s!  it has truly been the weirdest winter in that winter hasn’t really arrived, not that i am complaining.  in fact, i would be perfectly happy if it skipped winter and just went straight to spring 😉  who else is with me?!

ONE: unveiling my new blog design was definitely the highlight of the week!!  there are still a few things i want to tweak and add, but i love the more sophisticated aesthetic and think it is easier to navigate.  what do you think so far?  anything you want me to add?!
TWO: snowy walks with my husband, coffee in hand.  i feel like such a grandma because i always put these walks in my lists of my favorite moments of the week but i guess i just like the simple pleasures sometimes because a good walk can put me in such a good mood!
THREE: kansas city blogger meetup.  it came at the end of a verryyy long day but was just what i needed.  it is always fun to chat with other bloggers who share the same interests, frustrations, and dreams, and especially fun when you all share the same city.

FOUR: watching the superbowl with friends.  honestly the game was so-so for me until the end, but i really enjoyed the halftime performance, most of the commercials (#allthefeelings) and twitter.  seriously i have never enjoyed twitter as much as i did that night!
FIVE: family in town from california.  some of my cousins are in for the weekend to tour my alma mater, so we got to meet up with them for dinner.  it is always great to see a familiar face from home while we are living out here in the Midwest!
