SCHOLARSHIP BALL.

SCHOLARSHIP BALL.
there are not many occasions that allow for a floor-length dress, so when those occasions do come up, you get yourself a gorgeous gown and get all dolled up!  over the weekend, we attended our alma mater’s scholarship ball with some friends.  it is always one of our favorite nights of the year, seeing alumni and benefactors, raising money for students to attend our beloved college, and dancing the night away to a live band.
just as i did last year, i rented a dress from rent the runway (you can see my post from last year here).  a gown isn’t really in my budget, especially one i know i will only wear once, so rent the runway is the perfect solution to make sure i feel like a million bucks without spending it.  i will admit that there were quite a few issues this time around, as in the dresses that my sister and i ordered never came in!  i was literally freaking out because i did not have a backup dress, but thankfully the wonderful people at rent the runway pulled through for us and overnighted us a total of 9 backup dresses and a clutch, as well as refunded our order and gave us a credit.  i’m telling you, they were truly the best!  when all was said and done i ended up with the same dress i had originally ordered, just in a different color.  it was one of those dresses that just made me feel amazing and i never wanted to take it off!
*just fyi, this is not a sponsored post, i just wanted to give my honest opinion of the customer service at rent the runway.  though they totally messed up our order, they did everything they could to make it right so i would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend renting through them!
