WHAT’S IN MY POOL BAG.

Over the weekend, our apartment complex filled back up the pool and it got me so excited for pool season!  Which got me thinking about how I need to get my pool bag stocked so that it is ready at a moment’s notice as soon as it gets warm enough outside to allow for a good pool day.  Below are the essentials I always keep on hand: a towel, a good book, sunglasses, sunscreen, flip flops, and I forgot to picture a coverup but of course always have that as well!  Toss it all in a big tote and I am good to go!

Every spring I like to pick out one new swimsuit for the coming season.  It’s always fun searching around online to find the one I love and then the anticipation leading up to that first glorious day that warrants me packing up my bag and traipsing over to grab a pool chair!  This year I went with a high neck halter top bikini from Billabong.  I loved the bright color, subtle pattern, and the high neck is just so chic in my eyes!  Plus, Billabong is synonymous with the beach to me so it just seemed like an obvious choice 😉
