Clothes that double for work and play, that is what I am all about. I talked last week about how it is important (for your wallet and your closet space) to buy pieces that can be worn multiple ways. So when I discovered the brand Byer California, I was really happy to find that they have built their brand upon the idea of pieces that will take you from the office to the weekend and beyond. Every piece can be styled different ways, making them perfect for millenials like us that work in the corporate world but want to be able to meet up with people right after work or just don’t have the money to buy specific “weekend clothes”.
The check organza overlay of this skirt is so pretty and actually my husband told me it is his favorite skirt of mine! (That is actually quite the compliment because sometimes he doesn’t agree with me on my clothing choices haha.) This time around I chose to style it a little middle of the road, a “dressed up casual” you might say. However, I can just as easily see myself wearing it with a graphic tee and Jack Roger sandals for weekend errands or with a jeweled white button down and suede pumps for work. It is versatility at it’s finest.
