Coming at you today with my last outfit post from my trip to California. If you’ve ever been to San Francisco in the spring/summer, then you understand all the layers. There is a quote somewhere that goes something like “the coldest winter I ever experienced was summer in San Francisco”. So funny but so true!
It was my best friend’s first time in the city and I warned her that it was going to be cold but she didn’t quite understand how cold I meant so we chose to do a driving tour of the city rather than too much walking, but made an exception when we got to Ocean Beach and got out to walk around. This is the beach we always visited as kids when we came into the city (I think because my parents went to college nearby it or maybe they just liked it best, I am not sure?) so I had to show her around. It is so beautiful and the sun was starting to set and there weren’t many people around, and it was one of my favorite moments of the day: a few peaceful minutes taking in the last of the city before heading out.
