FRIDAY FIVE.

FRIDAY FIVE.
Happy Friday!!!  I took the day off and will be spending it getting the house in order and getting packed up because Matt and I are heading into Chicago for the weekend to celebrate our second wedding anniversary!  Cannot believe how fast time is flying, we will be 80 and wrinkly before we know it at this rate 😉  Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend as well!
Reflecting on life lately…
ONE: We finally wrapped a big job at work which is great in and of itself but the best part is it means I can quit this flying business and move to South Bend permanently and actually live with my husband, woop woop!! 😉

TWO: The past few weeks while I have been flying back to Kansas City, I have made an effort to meet up with a friend nearly every night.  It’s been so nice getting to gradually say my goodbyes!
THREE: If you saw my snapchats, you saw that last weekend Matt and I went to a community yard sale and scored bikes for just $5 each!  Matt was apparently going to get me one for an anniversary gift since I have wanted a new cruiser ever since leaving mine at home when I went to college, so it was amazing to find this one for so cheap!  Mine even has a little basket 🙂  The only downside is that the chain on Matt’s was really rusty and kept falling off as we were on a ride to dinner!  It was painfully funny; I felt so bad but I couldn’t stop laughing either!
FOUR: I have been discovering loads of new music lately.  Some favorites: “Headlights”, “Do It Again”, “My Kind”, “Aftertaste”, “Let the Night Fall”, and “Long Road to Nowhere”.
FIVE: Exploring around South Bend the past few weekends has been really fun.  Everything is new and novel for us.  After being in the same city for the past few years, it’s been a breath of fresh air getting to know a new place.
