THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

One closet item that is aboslutely essential for summer: a little white dress.  I have been on the hunt for the perrrrfect LWD for so long and thought that I may have found it in this light and airy number, but when it arrived, I realized that that no, just no, it is not appropriate to wear as a dress.  At first I was really bummed but then thought I would try to repurpose it as a tunic with white jeans, a look I have been seeing around lately and loving on others but for some reason, I just didn’t think that I could pull it off.  Well turns out, I like it maybe even more than I would have as a dress!

You know I love a good white on white look, but I knew I wanted to add some pops of color.  In my humble opinion, red/coral and turquoise are the best colors to contrast against white, especially in the summer.  So it was an obvious choice to go with my go-to red flats (I am convinced that everyone needs a pair of red flats), red clutch my sister brought me home from Italy, and these new turquoise earrings I got from Happiness Boutique.
