BOY MEETS GIRL.

Growing up I was a total tomboy.  Literally one time my older sister and her best friend convinced me that if they rubbed a mud mixture full of sticks and grass in my hair I would become a boy, and I LET THEM DO IT!  While times have definitely changed, I still find myself drawn to casual boy-ish pieces from time to time. 

What’s great is that now there are “boyfriend” style pieces that are tailored for girls but have that slightly oversized fit.  While I would typically recommend styling one of these oversized pieces with a more fitted piece to keep it from looking sloppy (ie a boyfriend blazer with skinny jeans, or boyfriend shorts with a fitted bodysuit) this time around I said screw it and wore both (blazer and shorts) at once.

To glam it up a little bit I paired them with this darling eyelash graphic tee for just the right amount of girly flair.  But then threw on my sneakers just to confuse people 😉

You tell me, was I just delusional or did it actually work?
