With summer coming to an end shortly (most people have already gone back to school), I am making a point to soak up these last few weeks of my favorite season with quintessential things: beach days, ice cream, dining al fresco, bike rides, and most importantly, little white dresses.
When it came time to pick an outfit for Create + Cultivate over the weekend, I had to go with this new white dress. To be honest, this outfit came together kind of as a fluke. Read: I had to take the train at 6 AM and hadn’t packed the night before so at 4:30 was reaching around in my closet and just grabbing things. This dress was one of the most recent additions to my wardrobe and so naturally my hands landed on it first. I must say, I love how it all came together. Sometimes it’s just best to keep it relatively simple with a few amazing details like this eyelet overlay.
I definitely recommend this dress since I got sooo many compliments on it throughout the conference. In fact, when I got to talk to Emily Jackson of Ivory Lane, she said she saw me in the crowd (there were over 250 people in her talk!) and couldn’t stop staring at my dress! So yeah, it’s an eye-catcher 😉
