Currently running off three and a half hours of sleep and powering through a cancelled flight, two delayed flights, and a missed meetings but it doesn’t even matter because I AM IN NEW YORK FOR FASHION WEEK! I am so excited to be here but couldn’t forget to share my Friday Five (especially since I didn’t last week)…
ONE: Notre Dame football. As soon as we decided we were going to be moving here for Matt to get his MBA I have been looking forward to gameday. It’s something I have wanted to experience ever since I first heard of Notre Dame way back when and let me tell you: it did not disappoint.
We made sure to do it all: the band practice, the pep rally, the midnight drum line, the tailgates, the band concert, watching the band march to the stadium, and finally, getting to the stadium early so that we could get really good seats for the game. It was incredible being around so many people all rooting for the Irish and it didn’t hurt that we gave Texas a good whooping 😉
TWO: I started a new book recently because during busy season it just helps me when I have something to wind me down at the end of the night so I don’t keep thinking about work. I picked up Luckiest Girl Alive since people keep comparing it to Gone Girl which is one of my favorite books. However, I’m over halfway through and just. not. into. it. Anyone read it? Does it get better?
FOUR: Celebrated two years of blogging! Unfortunately I had to work a 14 hour day and didn’t get to properly celebrate like we did last year, but I did treat myself to a cookie, haha wild!
