NYFW: BLAZER CAPE.

Hashtag girlboss.  That’s what I feel like in this blazer cape.  As soon as I put it on, I feel 100x more important and powerful than I really am.  Plus, (maybe it’s because it is part cape) I feel like a superhero in it! And really now, who doesn’t want something like that in their closet?
For a night of shows (and running into Amber Fillerup again!) followed by meeting up with a high school friend, I went black and white with this blazer cape paired with a faux leather skirt, ribbed tank, and yet another pair of DIY heels.  I actually wore the black ones that night, but for these pictures I wore the white pom pom ones because I actually meant to wear the white ones but I was in a hurry and the black ones were right there!  Anyways, it’s such a comfortable and uncomplicated outfit, those are the ones that make me feel the most confident.gold-hatted lover, DIY statement heels, blazer cape, street style, nyfw, new york fashion week
