NYFW: TECHNICOLOR MAXI.

Sometimes a piece is just so amazing that you have to save it for a special occasion.  When I received this dress a few months ago, my first thought was to pair it with a leather vest and lace up black heels.  However, I knew that I would be heading out for Fashion Week and really wanted to save that look.  But I also wanted to share it on the blog – blogger problems. So I styled it more simply and shared HERE, and decided to save my first idea for Fashion Week.

Well then I got to New York and spent way too many hours in heels and I thought my feet were going to hate me forever so I had to improvise.  Sneakers would just have to do.  And to be honest, they were the best decision I could have made!  I happily walked miles upon miles that day, soaking in the last of the city on a beautiful day before I had to board that jet plane and get home.
