If you’ve been following along for a while you already know the point I am going to make but in case you are new here it is: I love long sleeve dresses! They are the most transitional piece as they can be worn almost all throughout the year depending on how you style and layer them. If you’re going to spend more money on any one clothing item I think a long sleeve dress is your best bet. It’s a one-stop outfit, you’ll look dressed up even when you just throw-and-go, and they can be layered and worn so many ways depending on the weather.
I bought this one during the Shopbop sale. It is still marked down (though admittedly, not quite as low as I got it for) and I think a pretty great buy. The colors are gorgeous and kind of seasonally neutral (could work for spring or fall) and the detailing is really beautiful along the hem and the wrists. If you do buy it, just be sure to size down as it runs really large. It has a really cute smocked waistband, but you can’t see it because I had to fold the dress under or else it was way past my knees and I ordered my regular size!
Paired with some over the knee boots and my go-to sunglasses, it’s a really simple look but I sometimes it’s best to pare it back.
