Adding a little edge is one way to kick your outfit up a notch. Some simple ways to do that: a wide-brimmed hat, over-the-knee boots, or a (faux) leather jacket. If you’re feeling bold you can go for all three like I did for a date night with my huz, but if “edgy” isn’t a word you would typically use to describe your style, then pick just one to add that element to your look.
This outfit would look great with regular denim jeans, either light wash or dark wash, but I love corduroys for fall/winter, especially in this maroon hue that is so on-trend.
