While it certainly isn’t looking like we are going to be getting a white Christmas here in the Midwest this year, a few weeks ago a huge snow storm came through and dropped a good 12 inches of fresh powder and it was truly one of the most spectacular visions I have ever seen. Just the other day my husband and I were talking about how that day will forever stick with us as one of those magical memories – waking up to all that snow and running straight to the window as if it was Christmas day, bundling up for a walk around campus before everyone woke up with the whole place to ourselves, and then later in the day when the snowfall started back up, going for yet another walk with the snow flurrying all around and getting caught in our eyelashes.
The next morning, the sun was back out and the snow had settled and was sparkling. I threw on my absolute favorite trousers for a “winter white” look, a warm turtleneck and my leopard-print heels. The heels probably weren’t my best idea since it was kind of icy and took me 8 minutes to walk from the parking lot into Mass haha. A red lip to finish the look, and I felt so “winter glamorous” if that’s a thing – definitely something I would wear to a holiday get-together or it would make a perfect look for Christmas mass if you don’t want to go with a traditional dress!
*I just saw that these trousers unfortunately sold out in white but they are still available (and on sale!) in red, blue, and black. I highly recommend! They are perfect for chic ensembles and also work in the office, plus are insanely comfortable.
