February – the month of love!  Personally I love Valentine’s Day because it holds sentimental value from when Matt and I started dating, and because I think there are so many ways to celebrate.  Whether it be with a significant other, a group of girlfriends, some “me time”, or spent writing notes or calling up people you mean the world to you – if you’re planning to celebrate in a more laid back way, I think something like this casual Valentine’s Day outfit would be very fitting.  Pick one pink or red item – be it a skirt, top, sweater, or shoes – and keep the rest simple.  A touch of leopard never hurt either!

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day?  In years past Matt and I would do a fancy dinner and a movie but last year we stayed home and cooked up heart shaped pizzas instead and it was an absolute blast so I think we might do something along those lines again.  Also, last year my best friend and I hosted a “Galentine’s Day” brunch for some of our friends complete with a gift exchange and a photo backdrop with props (we used this DIY tutorial)!  Hope you dream up something fun!
