Thank goodness it’s Friday, can I get an amen?! Our week started off in Kansas City and while it’s always good to be home after a trip, I will admit that coming home to snow wasn’t the easiest thing. I’m definitely Spring dreaming and I know I’m not the only one! 🙂
5 highlights from the week…
ONE: Need Your Help
Okay guys, I need your help! I’m trying to decide between a few pairs of shoes for Spring and I am torn between three. I asked for help on Snapchat yesterday and thank you to all who voted, but they all ended up nearly tied hahaha. The choices are these white booties, these ivory oxfords, and these black booties. Pleaseeeee let me know which you like best – I seriously can’t decide!
TWO: Spring in Kansas City
We spent last weekend down in Kansas City and the weather was phenomenal. It was so nice that we ate outside on Sunday afternoon – it was 70 degrees and sunny! Made coming home to snow a little rough but we enjoyed it while we could!
THREE: Scholarship Ball
The Scholarship Ball was an absolute blast. This was my fifth (I think?) year going and was by far one of the best. Since we moved and don’t see our friends all the time, it is extra sweet when we do get to see them and add in some drinks, a band, and fancy dresses and you know it’s going to be a good time 😉
You can see some of my past dresses I wore to the Scholarship Ball here and here (that dress was my absolute favorite!).
FOUR: New Music
Lately, I’ve been finding tons of great music. With the new month, I started a new playlist with those, you can find those on Spotify here.
FIVE: Baking Success
Yesterday, I baked cookies and they came out perfectly. I use the Cooks Illustrated recipe and when done correctly they are the most amazing crunchy-on-the-outside-gooey-on-the-inside cookies you’ll ever taste but I always seem to do something wrong and mess them up. But not yesterday! I could have convinced you I was ready to open my own bakery with those babies. Little victories 😉
PSA: Shopbop Sale
If you’ve been saving for an investment piece, the Shopbop sale is the best sale of the year for you because their inventory includes everything from budget-friendly brands and high-end designers, plus the more you spend, the more you save! I will be sharing my personal favorites later today in case you don’t want to go through every page of the sale (hint: there’s a lot). *Update: Here is the post!*
Have you shopped the sale yet? If so, what did you get?!
