You know in the Winter when you are *over it* and find one outfit that works and just resort to wearing it over and over and over again and hoping no one notices? Well, that’s how I feel about this dress right now.
If you follow me on Instagram then you’ve noticed I can’t. stop. wearing. it. It’s likely gotten to the point where it’s annoying. Maybe you’ve even found yourself wondering: “Does she own anything else?” I honestly wonder to myself if I’ve worn it “too much” and should try harder, but then I don’t try harder and I just wear it. Sue me.
The bummer was that it has been completely sold out – until yesterday when it got FULLY RESTOCKED!

What I Love About It
Everything, really! I adore the billowy fit, the feminine eyelet fabric, the fact that it’s lined, the flattering length, how easy it is.
I jokingly say that it is “wildly unflattering” and that’s why I love it, but in actuality I think the fit is very forgiving and accentuates the legs really nicely.

But really some things I love about it:
The body is lined so it’s not see-through and doesn’t require a slip (the arms are not lined).
Because of that lining you can wear a regular bra, orrrr you can do what I normally do and just go bra-less (the eyelet does a nice job camouflaging).

The price point is very reasonable but it does not feel cheap at all. The fabric is very substantial!
The construction lends it to be very breathable so you don’t overheat and the fabric doesn’t really touch your skin which is KEY in the Texas heat and humidity.
The feminine eyelet design is beyond adorable.

I really love the long sleeves and think those allow it to easily transition from day to night, especially if you’re on the coast where it cools down significantly when the sun goes down.
The neck tie can be tied into a bow or left untied, giving a more v-neck look.
It looks good with so many different accessories and shoes. Headbands, hair scarves, hats, sneakers, slides, loafers, I even think it would look super cute with cowboy boots!
Sizing
Pretty true to size.
The one I own is one size below my normal size because it was sold out and it fits really well. If it had been in stock though I would have bought my normal size. I would recommend your normal size, but if you’d like it to be just a little less oversized, go ahead and order one size down.
For reference, I am 5’5″ and it hits me a couple inches above the knee.

*If you followed my Instagram stories ASOS try-on, you might remember that I had said I bought one size *up* and that it was a little too big but now I’m saying the opposite. Not be be confusing but that’s correct. I originally bought the 6 because it was all that was available and it would have worked (I would have probably tried to put it through the dryer) but the following week, one came available in a 2 so I went ahead and snagged that to compare. While I would have liked my normal 4, I at least much preferred the 2 to the 6, so that’s how I ended up with a different one than what I filmed.
Order Quickly
This dress keeps selling out and I anticipate that will happen again after this restock, so if you want it, order it now!
ASOS has a great return policy with free returns, making it really easy to order and see if you like it. If not, send it back! I would not hesistate if you think you’re interested because I don’t think it will last long.

I actually might order another because I would cry if something happened to it…
Oh, and it also comes in a rust colorway as well as a petite version in both white and army green if those are more your style/fit.
