happy friday everyone!!!
i am currently on my way to the airport to meet my family in washington, dc; my dad is in the navy and being promoted to admiral and the ceremony is this weekend. i am SO excited to see all my family and be together for a weekend going from event to event with hopefully enough time to squeeze in some walks through georgetown!
here are some of my favorites from the week:
-watching a huge storm roll through the city from the office windows (floor to ceiling windows no less, perfect for someone who loves watching storms).
-one of my co-workers sent me this: the 50 most awkward pregnancy portraits ever. do not look at these at work if you cannot stifle your laughs easily, they are hilarious!
-made this steak and portobello salad one night this week. it was so good we barely even stopped to take a breath and when we did it was just to say how good it was!
-realizing i had chocolate covered cookie dough balls in the fridge after a long day at work.
-finding new blogs.
