if you follow me on instagram, then you might have seen my post over the weekend that i was pulling looks at francesca’s. me and some other kansas city bloggers are currently working on something fun for you at the end of this week (perhaps a giveaway cough cough) and i met up with a local blogger friend to put together some looks with the store’s merchandise. let me just say, the place is a gold mine right now; we were joking that it would be easier to say the things we did not want to try on than the things we did! my arms were so heavy from all of the hangers, but i finally settled on two favorite looks because i could not pick just one. be on the lookout for the second one tomorrow.
this look honestly came together so easily for me. i had to grab this dress because it reminded me of a dolce vita one i almost bought on my trip to new orleans last summer but passed on and have regretted ever since. this one is not available online but go check your local store because it is amazing and over half the price of the dolce vita option!
and then i decided to switch things up with this brightly colored kimono. i have been loving the idea of kimonos lately because they are so fun and breezy and add a nice layer without adding a lot of weight. francesca’s had a few fun printed options but i settled on this one because the neon coral was too pretty and they had wedges that matched just perfectly!
and my inner flower child could not resist the flower crown 😉
