last week was kansas city fashion week and i was lucky enough to be invited to the week’s festivities. i was able to attend an event nearly every night and had such a great time celebrating my passion with other bloggers and kc residents.
the first night was a fun runway show at a local mall, where models strutted their stuff in looks showcasing some of fall’s best and trendiest looks from stores like macy’s, dillard’s and buckle. honestly i had no idea what i was going to wear to the event until i came home from work and saw these shoes in my mailbox. they totally sparked my inspiration! i was so obsessed that i picked my outfit specifically so that i could wear the shoes and i absolutely loved how it all came out. i bought the romper months ago to wear to vegas but ended up going with a jumpsuit instead (seen here) and i thought it would just hang in my closet forever due to the all-over sequins, but the addition of the camo shirt made it totally day-time and seasonally appropriate.
