Whew this has been quite the week! Any of you who have been keeping up with the World Series I am sure know what I mean when I say that I am exhausted haha! My schedule has been so thrown off lately so I am slowly but surely trying to get back in a routine aka get my life back together. Here’s to hoping for a relaxing weekend!
——————-
ONE: We’ve been having the best weather and it meant we were able to bring back the bikes! While I love summer rides, I think fall rides through crunchy leaves while more fall down from the trees might just be better.
TWO: The Royals won the World Series!!! While we were beyond sad to not be there to celebrate (especially since poor Matt has been waiting his whole entire life, no joke, for them to win a championship) it was still such a thrill to watch our boys in blue take the whole thing home and how proud our beloved Kansas City was of their win. It also means I finally get my life and my husband back 😉
THREE: I’ve been reading a new book lately and though I am not too far in, I am so hooked. Anyone read Before I Go To Sleep by SJ Watson?
FOUR: I decided that November 1st would be the beginning of the Christmas season for me. It’s not that I am trying to rush it or anything, I just find that I get caught up in the busy-ness of life and before I know it, that special season is over. So this year I vowed to heck with the judgement and started playing the Christmas music, lighting the candles, and posting holiday content.
FIVE: Got a new pair of sunglasses from DITTO – these Miu Miu ones I had been coveting ever since Julia Engel wore them at NYFW. I love this program because I can try as many pairs as I want that are wayyy out of my price range 😉 If you want to give it a try, you can get a month free with the code GOLDHATTEDLOVER. What will you choose, these Pradas, these Illestevas, or maybe these Karen Walkers?

Favorite post of the week: Honestly, I loved every post this week haha! But I really love my San Francisco Travel Guide. Makes me sentimental for home.
Best read from the web this week: Proof that Eric Hosmer scored the ninth-inning run that led into overtime (which we dominated) exactly 17:38 into the World Series.
Obsession of the week: Christmas music!
Song of the week: Just a Girl by Brandon Heath – such a great Christmas song that gives me chills every time!
