Spring is always full of events, parties, and dances – just one reason to love the season! Picking out the perfect dress, getting ready with girlfriends, and meeting up with your date for a fun night out is always something I look forward to. While prom and spring formal are no longer on my calendar, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been looking and finding some great options! What’s nice is that a lot of the dresses I found are a) reasonably priced and b) can be worn for a multitude of events (looking at you wedding season 😉 )
The key to a spring formal or prom that you’ll remember fondly is choosing a dress you feel comfortable in. For me that’s a dress with straps that doesn’t fit tightly across my midsection. I want something I can dance in and not have to worry about it falling down or riding up. However, I know tons of girls who feel ultra feminine and sexy in a strapless or bodycon number – it’s just personal preference! Some of my favorite places to shop for occasion dresses are Boohoo (where I got the gorgeous dress styled here), ASOS, Nordstrom, Revolve, and Shopbop – I find that those shops always have a wide variety of styles and price points so there is something for everyone!
